Photography offers me a wonderful collection of surprises and discoveries.

I have always found trousers hanging on a line as highly amusing and was preparing to enjoy the relationship between the blue jeans and the mustard textured wall. I felt the empty steps needed to be enlivened by something but did not know what. In a moment this wonderfully comic dog positioned himself in the precise place I needed him to be. I made my photograph and he scampered away.
